To work, climb or stay on a ladder calls for a high level of slip resistance on the ladder rungs as the footing - climbing a ladder - is concentrated in an area much less than standing on an even floor.
Self bearing or built-in ladders will both demand the support of at least one hand. This is why the ladder rungs must have good friction.
As you can see on the photos above, the majority of ladders are made of metal or steel. These are just as easy to mount anti-slip profiles onto as any other surface.
The best way to do that - because of the narrow base - is by using our very strong Tec-7 adhesive. It is a very powerful paste which resists all kinds of weather conditions. It also makes sure that the rung covers stay in place and provide optimal traction which makes climbing ladders much safer.
If you have not secured your ladders yet, make sure to check out our anti-slip ladder rung covers by clicking on the related product's name below. You will be able to learn more about both, the rounded and rectangular profiles we offer and the different colors they can be ordered in.
Furthermore, we have various friction grades to choose from based on the environment and intensity of use that your ladders endure.
