Data is used for the following purposes:

All data collected via newsletters, marketing sign-ups and pop-ups will be used for social media marketing purposes – and for sending newsletters. The Data from purchases is only used to deliver the goods and invoicing.

Data retention and purpose:

We store your personal data safely and securely in accordance with current Danish Data Protection Act– including The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) – Art. 6 (1). Your data will solely be used for the sole purpose of which they were obtailed – and will be deleted when this purpose is no longer relevant.

If you leave a comment on our website, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

We will save the following data: Details such as name, address, email, phone number and data regarding use for social media and digital platforms such as newsletters and event invites.

We will share your data under the following circumstances. Where we have entered a data handling agreement with data handling third parties, which is our guarantee, that they will abide to current GDPR legislation (GDPR) – Art. 6 (1). These include:

Nimble CRM software for collecting and handling of email addresses for sending out marketing material and information.

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

How long we retain your data:

In connection with purchases of goods and services: In connection with delivery of our products and services, we will store your personal details for up to five years after the transaction – in accordance to current Bookkeeping Act, unless there is a specific reason to store the data for longer – i.e. where you have access to an online product which you have purchased.

What rights you have over your data:

You can always request to know what data we store. Additionally, you can also request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. If the information we hold on you is wrong, we can amend and update if you request it. Finally, you can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

As part of our privacy policy, if you wish to unsubscribe or withdraw your agreement for Real Safety to handle your information in connection to emarketing such as newsletters and event emails, you can always unsubscribe at the bottom of any of our newsletters. Please ensure you unsubscribe to all activities as you might have signed up to more than one mailing list.
